Few
Canadian agencies have the depth of experience in hospitality and
tourism that Pradinuk Advertising has.
Ron
Pradinuks career in tourism marketing began in 1971 when he
handled all advertising for Saskatchewan Tourism. He worked on that
account until 1983. During the same time, he participated on BC
Tourism marketing activities from 1972-1975, and Manitoba Tourism
from 1971-1977.
Under
Rons leadership, Pradinuk Advertising worked on the Travel
Manitoba advertising account from 1981-1988.
In
1991, Pradinuk Advertising was contracted to deliver its British
Columbia Report on Tourism which linked the hospitality sector to
the governments tourism department.
In
addition to this, Ron is owner of Renaissance Travel, a major Winnipeg
travel agency. This position led him to become active in the Association
of Canadian Travel Agents (ACTA). He served on the national board
of directors of ACTA for eight years, recently completing a two
year term as national president. During this time, he was the main
contact for travel industry information throughout Canada. His ACTA
position gave him a unique understanding of the issues facing domestic
and international tourism by governments, travel distributors and
consumers.
Ron
currently sits on the Board of Directors of the Winnipeg Convention
Centre.
